OEM Sales Director / Account Executive

Napatech, the leading provider of reconfigurable computing is expanding the North American Sales Team.

As Napatech deepens its’ offering of world-class solutions for OEMs and Hyperscale Datacenters, we are searching for a Sales Director/Account Executive to build our portfolio of customers within these areas.

The core responsibility of the role is to manage the sales process with a heavy emphasis on prospecting and hunting but also including the following: building rapport, relationship management, revenue growth, and maintaining customer satisfaction over a multi-year cycle of product development.

A typical day at work would include communicating with Vice President of Sales, Americas to whom this position would report, ensuring all commercial and technical needs of opportunities are delivered in a timely manner as well as regular ongoing customer contact.

This position will be expertly supported by our best in class field engineering and R&D groups.

The right candidate

Is a self-motivated, consultative high-technology account executive located in the San Francisco Bay area who is willing to work in a global publicly-traded organization.

Demonstrates proven ability to prospect, hunt, qualify leads, present to customers, build proposals and turn opportunities into revenue streams plus have the ability to work as member of a team in the organization.

An existing rolodex of San Francisco Bay Area (CA) OEM customers who sell into the IT industry is highly preferred. 

Has an IT sales background in the network and data delivery industry - expertise with OEM account management in embedded technologies (packet capture, inline, and virtualization) as well as existing relationships within the data delivery industry, are desirable but not necessary.

Other requirements

·         Minimum of 7 years of consultative selling experience in Information Technology (HW/SW) to Fortune 1000 companies

·         Experience in solution selling, sales forecasting, maintaining customer relationships and communicating with internal stakeholders

·         Record of consistently attaining quota of over $2M per annum

·         Excellent verbal, written & presentation / communications skills

·         Experience working with CRM software tools (preferably SugarCRM)

·         'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

Education & Qualification

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in engineering/computer science and/or business management

Location 

Located in San Francisco Bay Area and be willing to travel up to 30% of the time, also internationally, when needed.
