We are currently looking to recruit a competent Scientist to strengthen our analytical team!

Responsibilities will include assay development, repurposing, optimization, monitoring and troubleshooting to support viral vector and/or cell therapy products.

In order to succeed,

You should have a Ph.D. degree in the field of life sciences, biotechnology, pharmacy, molecular or cellular biology or any other related field of study or M.S. degree with a sufficient working experience from a university laboratory or pharma industry. It is an advantage if you already have some experience in aseptic- or GMP-work and/or you have knowledge on quality systems.

The job requires understanding and skills in cell culture techniques, different analytical methods and the ability to work independently after adequate training. Previous working experience with viral vectors, immune cells and/or bioreactors is seen as an advantage. The nature of the research work requires ability to cope with changing situations and a mind-set willing to face and overcome challenges. The official language at KCT is English, and good oral and writing skills are required to succeed in everyday work. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office tools are required.

The position is permanent and located in Kuopio, Finland. We hope that you are able to join our team in September 2022. This role is new in our organization due to our ongoing growth.
